Katie + Joaquin said “I Do” surrounded by family and friends on a beautiful and serene spring day that was full of joy and celebration, evident on the faces of all who attended.

Katie and her bridesmaids shared many smiles and sweet moments in the Bridal Suite as they got ready for the exciting day ahead. Meanwhile, in the Groom’s Suite, Joaquin and his groomsmen said “Cheers!” to the new chapter that was blossoming.

After slipping into her beautiful A-line dress with gorgeous detail, the bride joined her groom on the hill overlooking Lake Laurel for their first look. The two shared private vows, with smiles brighter than the sky.

Once the wedding party took photos, complete with the bridesmaids’ pastel dresses and complementary floral bouquets, it was time for the ceremony to begin.

Joaquin stood beneath the chandelier, as his soon-to-be wife floated down the aisle to him. The two vowed to be there for one another for eternity under the pergola that was adorned with beautiful floral arrangements.

Once the vows were sealed with a kiss, it was time to celebrate Mr. + Mrs. Peralta for the very first time!

The couple shared an elegant and enchanting first dance while their guests enjoyed chicken & waffles on a skewer, shrimp & grits, and a mac & cheese bar during cocktail hour. That was paired with refreshing signature cocktails – choice of a strawberry mojito or a gin lavender collins. For dinner, guests began the meal with a first course of baby greens, followed by a duet entree of salmon poached in garlic butter sauce and beef short ribs braised in a rich cabernet sauce, accompanied with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables in olive oil.

Once dinner was wrapping up, Katie + Joaquin cut into their red velvet cake. Guests were also treated to a Krispy Kreme flambe, a donut set aflame with liquor and then served with homemade cinnamon ice cream and chopped pecans. Then, it was time for the guests to join the newly married couple on the dance floor.

The night ended with a spectacular sparkler exit. We couldn’t be happier for Katie + Joaquin. Congratulations to the sweet couple!!

Looking back on their special day, Katie said “The entire day felt like a dream come true!! From the sparkling ballroom, and the flowers, to the gorgeous green scenery – everything looked stunning! I loved getting to shared so many romantic and silly moments with Joaquin (and our photographer) around the estate. It was so magical. Highgrove (and Angela, our DOC) really made the whole wedding feel flawless, which allowed us to just be in the moment and have so much fun with our friends and family. Of course, I also loved our endless dance floor!!!”
Joaquin shared “The his and her suites were so neat. It was a great experience, being able to share that time with my groomsmen relaxing in our own space. And the food – all of the food tasted incredible. Our guests are still talking about how delicious and creative everything was!”
